I’d like to thank all the members of our Tennis Club for the great turnouts we had for our Fun Days in 2007. What makes a Club a lot of fun is its members’ active participation in such events. Thank you and let’s continue having FUN in 2008!

My gratitude too to our board members; they have made our Club a success year in and year out. On behalf of our members, I’d like to extend a special “Thank you” to Arnold, Karl, Ben, Nancy, Sherri and Liz for a job well done. Your hard work and dedication is appreciated by all.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Gino Baldisseri, President

girl.gif1. What type of work do you do?—I am a software product manager at a bio-medical company. I work with the software engineers to make sure they develop the right product for our customers.

2. What do you like best about your job?—Visiting customers to see how they use our products and understand their needs.

3. What is your favorite hobby?—Tennis, tennis, tennis!

4. Name one of your favorite movies—Lord of the Rings – can’t even remember how many times I’ve watched it – drives George nuts.

5. Name your favorite author, book or magazine—A fan of Agatha Christie, but nowadays don’t really have time to read :<

6. Name your best vacation location—A tennis resort with great food and tennis

7. Besides tennis, what else are you passionate about?—Between tennis, work, eat and sleep, don’t have much time left for anything :<

8. How long have you been playing this game of tennis?—I’ve been free-swinging the tennis racquet with George and family for awhile but didn’t really start to learn to play to win until my 2005 USTA league with the OP 3.5 ladies.

9. Name one of your favorite restaurants—I don’t really have one favorite restaurant. Most of my favorite and affordable restaurants are in the Sunset Area, SF. For example, there is Lotus at Noriega (I think it’s 22nd Ave) where they serve really good spicy beef noodles; a couple blocks away is Noriega Teriyaki where they have good sushi. Another one is San Tung at 10th Irving – they offer excellent spicy noodles and dishes.

10. What kind of food do you like best?—All kinds but spicy food ranks high up on the list.
